For Zasha Robles, CEO and president of Etcétera Group and Spiral International, the placement of a package of 40 films they are launching into the market, to continue with the process of development and sales of new scripted series and finished series from Canada, England, and Scandinavia, will be part of the company´s priority during Natpe 2020.

Additionally, Robles announced the beginning of the production of the sixth season of Taste Brasil with Globosat and the third season of Mi Pareja Puede with Mexico´s TV Azteca.

When consulted on their next great co-production that they are preparing in the region where they were so successful with the adaptation of Falco, Robles comments: “One of the characteristics that we like a great deal about the business is enjoying content from the A to the Z and more. To be able to do that we are truly looking for what the rest of the market is not doing. We are in the process of developing several contents in terms of co-productions for short dramas,” she mentioned.

Regarding markets such as Natpe, the executive expressed that they are going to continue having relevance because this is an industry of relations that requires a personal touch.

“The interesting thing, both about Latin America and the business, is that there is a great innovation in how the business can be reinvented. We will continue to see cord-cutting, but it will be replaced with the digital market. Amazon, Hulu, Apple, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, are going to create our new platform that in the 90s was cable and now with a perspective of 5 to 10 years we going to say this was the birth of the digital movement,” sentenced Robles.
