(Maribel Ramos-Weiner). TBN Networks signed an agreement with Apple for the distribution of its five inspirational networks –including TBN Enlace and Enlace Juvenil- as an application for Apple’s iPad, iPod, and iPhone, among other devices. “We are also working to have this programming on the new TV sets such as Samsung’s that you can connect to the Internet, you can go to YouTube, Netflix, etc. This is the way of the future, not just on the mobile devices, but going to the TV set and bypassing cable and satellite, being able to get the programming,” said Bob Higley, Vice President of TBN Networks to PRODU.Another exciting news for TBN has been the recent launch of TBN Enlace on DirecTV. Besides this agreement, TBN Enlace launched a few weeks ago in Baltimore and the mid Atlantic states which include Washington D.C., Baltimore Greater Area, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. “Enlace also launched in Orlando. We just expanded our TV station in that city to carry all of our five channels in multicast. So now Enlace is also available to over-the-air viewers in Orlando,” pointed out Higley.{Watch video interview with Bob Higley from TBN Networks;http://www.produ.com/produtv/popup.html?Noti=4445}
