For the coverage of Verano de fútbol (that includes the FIFA Women´s World Cup and the America Cup), Telemundo Deportes has focused on improving the experience generated at the Telemundo Center studios to support broadcasts.
“We have increased the level of augmented reality for events. For the first time, we are making tailor-made sets so that people who watch us can feel as if they are actually in those countries where the events take place. As for digital platforms, we have animated series of the America Cup. We also agreed with influencers, such as La Pareja del Mundial, from Argentina, who have offered very interesting segments on YouTube related with the America Cup,” says Eli Velázquez, Executive VP at Telemundo Deportes.
Velázquez mentioned that around 280 people, in the headquarters in Paris, Rio de Janeiro and Miami, work on the production to link these two tournaments.
