Telemundo Media presents its team and resources for 2012 Olympic Games coverage

Telemundo presented, from its headquarters in Hialeah in Miami, the resources the network would be using in the coverage of the 2012 Olympic Games, which begins airing Thursday July 26 until August 12. Bobby Salamanca of Telemundo 51 made the announcement from the Hialeah station along with the team of commentators of Deportes Telemundo, René Giraldo, Sammy Sadovnik, Andrés Cantor, Eli Velázquez, Mirella Grisales and Edgar López. The hosts that will be covering the games from London were also present, including Jessi Losada, Monica Noguera, along with Jorge Hidalgo, executive VP of Sports of Telemundo Media and executive producer of the Olympic Game coverage. The coverage provided by Telemundo Media will reach more than 173 hours of programming through multiple platforms, including the network and its digital and social counterparts. More than 30 hosts will be involved in the coverage of the games from Miami and London, where the network will have access to modern facilities thanks to its parent company NBCUniversal. For the first time in history, the network is to offer live video streaming of its transmissions, along with digital content on the events, which will reach about 200 hours of video.
