On March 28, Ángel Ramos created Telemundo. He already had a newspaper called Mundo and managed to have a television frequency. That is where Telemundo was born, and the entire US network owes its name to this.

Telemundo Puerto Rico has eight studios and the bet is on live programming.

With 33 years in the industry, Raymond Arrieta, comedian, began in Telemundo Puerto Rico, he was in Univision in Miami for six years, and then returned to Puerto Rico, again to Telemundo, where he has worked for 12 continuous years.

Arrieta is #1 in Puerto Rico with his program Raymundo y Sus Amigos from Telemundo Puerto Rico. “Advertising agencies and the ads that reach us trust in us a great deal. We announce and sell the product”.

Telemundo Puerto Rico is already celebrating 65 years and for him, it has been important to back the local programming that is so necessary. “Telemundo is back with our president José Cancela to present local programming and in primetime”.

He also assured that they are positive regarding the fact that open television will continue taking its steps. “We have to adapt to the changes that are taking place” using the social networks to their favor. “We advertise on social networks for people to connect with Telemundo.”
