Televisa: La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo will have 14 digital actions

La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo (67x60’), Rosy Ocampo´s new production for Televisa, will have a strong digital strategy that will involve more than 14 actions on this platform, including social networks, in the aim to approach the audience even more.
“When we started writing the script, we also started the digital project and in all, we will have 14 actions that will be announced gradually. We have seen lots of interaction, mainly on social networks, and that is why we are bringing a great multi-platform strategy,” explained the producer.
The director Benjamín Cann said the production chose the regional Mexican music genre because “it can be very attractive as a vehicle to show people that we want to talk about characters who live in the current world and whom they can feel identified with, and that might serve as a point of reflection for their own lives.”
La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo tells the story of an immigrant woman in the US, who dreams of being the star of a music band, but fate leads her to work as a teacher in Riverside, California, where she witnesses a shooting and turns into a hero for saving her children´s lives. Her situation as an illegal migrant makes her refuse to receive any acknowledgement, for fear of being discovered.
The cast is led by Ariadne Díaz, Danilo Carrera and África Zavala. Locations will be in Los Angeles, Tijuana and Mexico City. The debut is in February, 2017 at 9pm.
