A new delivery of La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo has been confirmed, after its success in the Mexican and US markets. This was confirmed by its executive producer, Eduardo Meza, who assured they are already developing the project and expect to start shooting at the end of the year.
“This telenovela has reached people, we are grateful to the audience and with the company for believing in the story and in the characters. Now, ratings are proving this success. In Mexico, we rose the audience bar 35%. For the new season we are already working with the writers, looking for the stories of what is happening on the other side of the border" he said.
Meza expressed he felt very grateful to Rosy Ocampo, who, before being appointed Corporate VP for Content at Televisa, held the role of executive producer of La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo: “I have worked with Rosy for 30 years, our goal has always been to move the audience”.
La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo ended on Las Estrellas last Sunday, May 21 at 8pm and the days before its outcome, we will listen to the musical theme composed by Jocelyn Robles, the winner of the dynamics boosted by the production and Televisa Digital in the quest for an interpreter of regional Mexican music.
Clara Méndez, Product and Commercial Solutions director at Televisa Digital, stated that this is the first of many similar activities they will boost aiming to make television interactive.
