Televisa and Endemol Shine Boomdog will adapt The Masked Singer

Televisa Studios and Endemol Shine Boomdog will co-produce the adaptation for Mexico of The Masked singer, a format by the South Korean Mun Hwa Broadcasting Corp.
In The masked singer, a group of celebrities will hide their identity behind full-body costumes and fascinating masks, while they sing in front of a panel of judges, who, along with evaluating their performance, must analyze each detail to discover who is behind each mask.
The masked singer has been a hit in the United States, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and China. In the United States, the first season, launched in January 2019, marked record audience in its genre and the launch was the most-watched broadcast in open TV in that country. The Mexican adaptation will be ready this year.
