Patricio Wills, president of Televisa Estudios, assured that quality and innovation is marking the path of all their projects. Strategic partnerships have an important role because they place new ideas, territories and lastly the economic contribution, that guarantees to be able to maintain and raise quality values and standards in Televisa, which already has around a thousand hours of annual production.
Mediapro, Endemol Shine Boomdog, and Sony are some of the companies they are working within the development of projects. With Netflix they are also "discussing possibilities", and with Amazon, they already have two projects available on the platform, Un Extraño Enemigo and Diablo Guardián, as well as a third one that just started shooting, tentatively titled Ciudad de México. “We are open to all possibilities,” he assured.
Wills informed that Andrea Marulanda is Televisa's new signing. She joined the team as Production Director. Camila Misas, Creative Director and Eduardo Clemesha, VP of Formats and New Contents, are also part of the team.
He highlighted the success of Sin Miedo a la Verdad, a short series (21x60’) that remained in the first places in primetime for Las Estrellas and that will have a second season: “We tried it, it worked well, and we are going to continue doing it”.
