Televisa presented its new telenovela Mi Corazón Es Tuyo. Produced by Juan Osorio and starring Silvia Navarro and Jorge Salinas, it will premiere in Mexico this Monday June 30th at 8:20pm on Televisa’s Canal 2. “I hope the telenovela does well. Ratings are an important part and I think it will be easy to compete because we have all the necessary tools. We have locations in the State of Mexico, Cancun, and in Barcelona, since it’s a story brought from Spain entitled Ana y Los 7. Our protagonist will travel to Spain to interact with this market, which we want to conquer with our Mexican version. There is also a lot of expectation there about the results. We also hope to feature special cameos by some of the actors from the original story,” said Osorio. Jorge Eduardo Murguía, VP of Production of Televisa, was in attendance at the event and said Mi Corazón Es Tuyo, “has all the elements to be a hit among Mexican families. The story deals with current issues, tastefully presented for the family time slot.” The novela is based on the Spanish story Ana y Los 7, by Ana Obregón, José Luis Acosta, Luis Marías Amondo, Silvia Pérez and Javier Amezcua. The Mexican version is an adaptation by Alejandro Pohlenz, Marcia del Río and Pablo Ferrer.
