The cast and production crew of the upcoming Televisa telenovela Mi Corazón Es Tuyo, led by producer Juan Osorio, gathered at Studio 15 of Televisa San Angel in Mexico City to watch the soccer game between Mexico and Brazil. During the event, Osorio revealed to PRODU some of the details of the production that stars Silvia Navarro and Jorge Salinas, set to premiere June 30th at 8:20pm replacing Rosy Ocampo’s Qué Pobres Tan Ricos. “We hope to do well with the premiere of Mi Corazón Es Tuyo. Although we’re competing with the World Cup, we’re confident in the work we’re doing. The series will have about 170 one-hour episodes because we’re shooting with children and we need to be mindful of the time they spend on set,” said Osorio. He said he has not yet decided which cause it would support, as every Televisa telenovela does, because he’s divided between two issues. “There is the issue of garbage, which we have to address, but we’ll decide closer to air,” he added. Osorio said he is working on creating a show about preventing bullying with actress Carmen Salinas. “I have specialists helping me and once we have the write-up we’ll launch it. We have to do our part in preventing so much violence,” he added.
