The Multicultural TV breakfast and program, presented by Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News during The Cable Show is an annual event oriented to those in the business of cable television for multicultural audiences. This year edition will be held on Tuesday, June 11, from 7:30 to 9:30am at the East Salon of Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. The breakfast program features two quick-paced panel discussions that are reflective of the importance of multicultural customers to the cable TV industry. Those topics are: Marketing: customer acquisition and audience retention, as well as Programming: content distribution. Each panel includes four different executives from cable operators and programming networks. This year in the session one: Acquisition & Retention the panelists are Adrián Adriano, VP, Multicultural Marketing from Comcast Cable; Eddie Hill, SVP, 360 Consumer Marketing & Brand Strategy of BET Networks; Ted Kim, president and CEO of Mnet America; and Sameer Targe, general manager of ZEE TV Americas.In the session two about content distribution, the panelists will be Judi López, SVP, Affiliate Distribution and Marketing NUVOtv; Alexander “Sandy” Brown, CEO and president of One World Sports; Glenn Goldsmith, VP, Programming of Mediacom Communications Corporation and Diana Mogollón, general manager at mun2.More than 200 leading executives in marketing, programming, affiliate services, advertising and research from MSO’s and programming networks will be attending the event.
