The 2012 conference was held on September 28 and 29 at the Hilton New York in Manhattan. The event is co-organized by the New York State Senate lead by Senator Dean G. Skelos and the Hispanic Federation who also awarded student grants to Latin students. “Being selected to receive the first Unidad Latina Lifetime Achievement Award was an unexpected delight.
