Apocalipsis Unimas

Apocalipsis (Apocalypse), a story about the end times, is coming to the U.S. starting August 12 on UniMás. Apocalipsis was written by Vivian de Oliveira and created by Brazil’s Record TV (Jesús, El Rico y Lázaro, La Tierra Prometida, José de Egipto, Moisés y los Diez Mandamientos, Los Milagros de Jesús and El Rey David).

Apocalipsis will air Monday through Friday at 9pm ET (8pm CT).

The modern-times adaptation of the epic drama shows how some of the prophecies about the end of the world could come to pass. The story is revealed in three time periods: the 1980s, the 1990s and the present day.

It all starts in New York when four young college students of different nationalities cross paths to unleash what could be the end of us all. Years later, the children of two of them will be the common thread of several apocalyptic prophecies that will occur in different cities around the world. The characters of Apocalipsis will have to experience moments of anguish and pain, as well as faith and hope, on their journey to the Final Judgement.

Starring Igor Rickli, Sérgio Marone, Juliana Knust, Fernando Pavão and Flávio Galvão, the ambitious story of seduction, power, catastrophe, and redemption was filmed in Brazil, Italy, the U.S. and Israel.
