Universo shows strong growth over this last season

Universo is on track to close out the 2019-2020 season as the number one Spanish-language cable network in Weekday Total Day among Total Viewers.
Throughout the season, the network has also been the fastest-growing Spanish-language cable network in Monday-Sunday primetime and total day among Adults 18-49, posting impressive growth of 32% in Primetime and 20% in Total Day within the demo.
In addition, year-to-date, Universo is currently ranked as the #1 Spanish-language cable network in Weekday Prime and Total Day among Total Viewers.
“Universo’s strong growth over this last season is a direct result of the network’s ongoing commitment to offer a unique and dynamic mix of entertainment, sports, and reality-based content that connects and engages with the diverse U.S. Latino audience,” said Ronald Day, EVP of Entertainment, Universo and Telemundo.
The following programs led to the network’s unprecedented growth this season:
Caso Cerrado increased its performance by +38% this season among P2+ during Monday – Friday primetime when compared to the previous season.
El Socio (The Profit) Season 4, hosted by Marcus Lemonis, lifted its Monday 9pm daypart by +94% among P2+ when compared to the 4-wks prior to its premiere.
The latest season of Acumuladores Compulsivos (Hoarders) increased its Friday 9pm daypart by +34% when compared to the 4-wks prior to its premiere this past July.
¿Quién da Más? also saw an increase in viewers, improving +19% among Adults 18-49 and 60% among Adults 18-34 when compared to the show’s prior season.
