Univision ended Upfront with a live performance of Enrique Iglesias and Telemundo did with Marc Anthony

If anything was clear at the New York’s Upfront event was the growth and the power of the Hispanic market and its TV channels in the U.S.Univision, the number one in sales and ratings rose to the fourth place among all other U.S. channels, both English and Spanish. Their show, Despierta América, was declared number 1 among all channels in the U.S. Television for the same time slot regardless of language. As well, Telemundo informed that their newscasts are the largest growing in the market. Their website, {Telemundo.com}, was listed number 1 due to the volume of visits and the time spent on the site by each user. As a network, Telemundo is one of the fastest growing.Usually, to amuse and impress the buyers, the networks use all their creative talent, bringing celebrities and closing up the event with music Latino starts. This year Univisión concluded with two songs performed by Enrique Iglesias and featured Roberto Rodriguez, the Mexican film director, who became famous with his movie El Mariachi and has made an agreement with Univisión to create original content using Hollywood talents. Telemundo wrapped up with a Marc Anthony live performance. Daisy Fuentes, one the Latino starts, was the upfront host. Many talents walked by the stage, including Paulina Rubio who is one of the coaches at La Voz Kids.
