Univision Communications, Inc. (UCI) brings great bets in programming starting in 2016. The most outstanding is the series El Hotel de los Secretos, a Televisa production that will debut on Univision. They will also launch La Viuda Negra 2 on UniMas, made by RTI and in February Univision will broadcast the tenth edition of Nuestra Belleza Latina with a redesign as a tribute to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Another piece of content is La Banda 2 which they have started pre-castings for already, aiming to find boys and girls 14 and older, in January with events in New York (January 23rd and 24th) and Puerto Rico (January 30th and 31st) followed by Houston (February 6th and 7th); Miami (February 13th and 14th); Chicago (February 20th and 21st) and Los Angeles (February 27th and 28th)."We were very pleased with the first season of La Banda. In total, around 20 million people saw this new format that consolidated us as an innovating company that is leader in concepts. La Banda was a format that generated great digital interactivity, like never before. It was a hit in the commercial aspect, as well as regarding audience, digital and social media", told PRODU Alberto Ciurana, President of Programming and Content at UCI.For his part Cisco Suárez, SVP and Executive Producer of Special Events at UCI said that La Banda 2 will be a sort of "Batalla de Sexos, giving girls the opportunity. Were happy with what we did. We learned a great deal. The second season must be much more successful".
