For this year’s event, the U.S. Hispanic Young Lions Competitions 2021 has named some outstanding creatives of the multicultural industry as jurors.
These include internationally award-winning director Pucho Mentasti; Maria “Maru” Bernal, VP creative director at FCB Chicago; Beto Nahmad, executive creative director of VCCP Spain; Benny Thomas, global planning leader for Facebook; and Fabio Seidl, Facebook’s global creative director.
“It’s an honor to have so much talent on our jury. I can’t wait to see how the young creatives do with their ideas in this competition,” said Flor Leibaschoff, president of Circulo Creativo USA.
The competitions, which began on Friday, April 16, are sponsored by Facebook in a show of support for Circulo Creativo USA and for the multicultural industry in general.
The winning creative duos will represent the U.S. Hispanic market at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
“Flor, our current Circulo Creativo president, was the first winner among the USH Young Creatives. On Friday she and the Facebook team were briefing the creative teams. We spoke of setting examples for the coming generations of creatives to follow in the U.S. Hispanic market!! It really makes me proud to be one of the Circle’s founders!” said Luis Miguel Messianu, Chairman of the Circulo Creativo USA.
