Video Rola reaches its 15th anniversary in Mexico

Pay-TV channel Video Rola, reaches its 15th anniversary with over 7.5 million minutes broadcast, a library of 11,500 music videos, over 500 hours of unique interviews, and 350 exclusive concerts.Video Rola was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, in Mexico, product of Jorge Tanaka’s passion for Mexican regional music and Enrique Yamuni’s business vision. The channel belongs to the Megacable group.“15 years ago, Video Rola became the first production on TV focused on this music genre. This past June, it became the first music channel to simulcast in high definition, and we continue to make history. Innovation has always been our best ally and we’ll continue to surprise,” said Tanaka, Founder and General Director of the channel.Video Rola is available on cable in 26 states throughout Mexico, reaching over 2.55 million homes in 320 cities, and in the U.S. it reaches over a million homes and it’s projected to grow even further.
