VIP 2000 TV: Movies of the Amor en Navidad franchise will be available for distribution outside of LatAm in November

The first three original Christmas films in Spanish by VIP 2000 TV in co-production with Lifetime and Yahayra Films, will be available for distribution outside Latin America in early November. The one-hour films under the banner of Amor en Navidad (La mejor Navidad, Deliciosa Navidad y Una Navidad para recordar) will premiere on Lifetime’s screen in Latin America this Christmas.

“The idea was to create Christmas content featuring our Hispanic culture in the most beautiful settings in Jalisco. Starring each film are great Hispanic stars such as Juan Soler, Gaby Spanic, Patty Manterola, Rafael Novoa, Cristián de la Fuente, Danna García and the return of the renowned actress, Elluz Pereza”, said Roxana Rotundo, CEO of VIP 2000 TV.

According to Rotundo these are romantic comedies that talk about reconciliation, hope and love to be enjoyed by the whole family. “We are trying to focus on content for the whole family or capable of sharing some kind of positive message.”

VIP 2000 TV catalog also has a series of fictional soccer movies, “which has been in great demand for the next World Cup,” according to Rotundo. She also mentions the cycle of Turkish films, “romance stories with famous telenovelas actors, which have been sold to several countries in the region, and the family genre that allows us to be in prime time on open TV screens.”

In addition, the company is preparing two original productions. Details will be announced soon.

“The next market we will be attending is Mipcom in Cannes where we will go seeking for content for our catalog and to sell our productions,” she concluded.
