Vme TV recognizes anonymous U.S. heroines in Memorial Day

This month, Vme TV will premiere Heroínas Anónimas: La Historia de Patriotas Americanas, a two-part documentary that highlights the sacrifices of some of the highest-ranking women in the history of the United States armedforces. In this special program, renowned producer Ron Howard brings the audience first hand accounts of brave women who have fought for the nation. The documentary’s first part will air Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10pm E/P and its second part will air Friday, May 30, 2014 at 10pm E/P. Heroínas Anónimas: La Historia de Patriotas Americanas, an original production by Maryland Public Television (MPT), tells the stories of some of the bravest women in the history of U.S., including Mildred Manning, the last surviving prisoner of World War II, and the Lieutenant Colonel Nicole Malachowski, the first female “Thunderbird” pilot. “With this documentary, Vme TV is proud to showcase the valorous women who have fought for this country, portraying courage and setting a powerful example of strength and determination for our nation,” said Ralph Parkman, Vme TV’s VP of Marketing. “It is of utmost importance to share the stories of those who have positively impacted the history of the U.S. with our viewers.”
