Zee Mundo: We launch series to create audience continuity through episodic content

Zee Mundo, along with monthly launches of new films will start incorporating series. The first two will debut in June: it is a period plot that influenced the destiny of India and will be seen starting Monday June 12. The other one is a contemporary one.

“In both, drama, antagonism and love are present. We feel that the stories and their optimal treatment will generate audience continuity throughout the week. Of course, they will always be in high definition. Additionally, we will offer supplementary content through our page and social network,” commented Rolando Figueroa, Head of Marketing for US Hispanic and Latin America at Zee Entertainment / Zee Mundo.

For the company, Latin America is a very important region in its business plan at a global scale. That is why the dubbing of films and series is meticulous.

“The physical similarity of Indian and Latin American actors contributes to the identification the average audience can feel. This has been confirmed by marketing studies. Although the contents of the channel come from a different hemisphere, the stories have great parallelism with the West, placing a great deal of emphasis on family values, common efforts and the union between people, and that is why we have reached great empathy,” assured the executive.
