The Landia production company took home 11 Lions from the 2018 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Seven Lions went to This Coca is Fanta by DAVID Sao Paulo for Coca-Cola. The producer also added two Bronze Lions in Film Craft for Save the Children’s Survivors by Y&R México and directed by Fran Paparella, plus a Bronze in Entertainment for Pimp The Extreme Ninja Master by W+K Sao Paulo for Old Spice, directed by Lucas Shannon, and a Silver in Outdoor for Parkour Screens by Cheil Madrid for Samsung, directed by Maxi Blanco.

“Our young talents contributed to many of this year’s prizewinners, adding their stunningly fresh ideas and modern language to the quality we always aim to imprint on our productions,” said Adrian D’Amario, managing partner and executive producer of the company.
This Coca is Fanta, directed by Vero Von, was one of the most awarded pieces in the region in different categories, with three Golds, two Silvers and two Bronze. This campaign transformed a homophobic expression into a symbol of pride for the LGBT community in Brazil and worldwide.

“We’re experiencing a new and different Cannes Festival. It’s more compact, specific, and with fewer categories. The juries were very demanding and few awards were given. Gold was the hardest to get,” D’Amario said. “Film Craft continues to be a prestigious category in which big ideas are rewarded. This year it has influenced the impact of the pieces. What surprised me most was the importance Film Craft got in audiovisuals, getting them a good reception in multiple categories.”
