VIS: Cecilia and Los Enviados and the docuseries Dr. Ballí, Adriano Emperador and La Gran Ola, among the first VIS originals for Paramount+

The series Cecilia, As Seguidoras and Los Enviados; the documentary series Dr. Ballí, Adriano Emperador and La Gran Ola, are among the first original VIS titles for Paramount+ Latin America.

Federico Cuervo, SVP and general director of VIS Americas, presented these productions.

He also mentioned the original romantic comedy film At Midnight with Diego Boneta, written by Giovanni Porta and produced by Boneta’s production company, including also Three Amigos in partnership with Dave Bernon; Automatik, the production company owned by Brian Kavanaugh Jones; Fred Berger; Theorem of Michel Franco and Eréndira Nuñez Larios; and the talent agency COLORSCMX; the series Chosen Damages and the thriller Medusa.

The director and screenwriter, Juan José Campanella, who together with VIS and its production company 100 Bares, co-produce Los Enviados, mentioned that the series is being filmed in Mexico City and Hidalgo, and will be the first Latin American series to debut on Paramount+.

“What we are producing are great moments of emotion and impact that promote remembrance,” concluded Cuervo.
