A+E Global Content Sales reacted quickly to the pandemic new wave, designing one of the best digital sales spaces, a sleek, state-of-the-art site to facilitate the interaction of its clients with their content from anywhere in the world.

“We are more than proud to present our latest robust catalog, which includes over 200 new hours of factual and scripted programming that has resonated and engaged with the audiences. We are also exploring new FAST and AVOD opportunities in the US Hispanic and Latin American market,” said Helen Jurado, VP of Global Content Sales for Latin America and US Hispanic at A+E Networks.

Among the projects that Jurado highlighted, in scripted, is the mystery drama Next of Kin (8×60’), which follows in the footsteps of other successful global fiction co-productions such as Miss Scarlet and the Duke and Hernán. In unscripted, she mentioned, I Survived a Crime with Gio Benítez (20×30 ‘); the docuseries Secrets of Playboy (10×60’); Court Cam (112×30’) and The Food that Built the World. “We also have family programming starring exceptional animals, the factual format Top Dog and the new series An Animal Saved my Life (12×30′), which we hope will be successful in the LatAm and US Hispanic markets.”

In movies, Jurado said the list in this category continues to improve, including thrillers, true crimes, vacations, romantic comedies, and more. “Keeping up with the Joneses (3×120’) is the latest three-part thriller with Vivica A. Fox, and Deceitful Dating is another new thriller that will keep audiences on their toes. Our Christmas movies are loved all over the world, and we are sure that our LatAm and US Hispanic clients will love Feliz NaviDAD, with Mario López playing a single father,” she said.

Regarding recent sales, Jurado mentioned the free streaming platform UCV Media+ in Chile, which acquired a factual package of premium series that includes Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, Modern Marvels and Stan Lee Superman.

In addition, Telemundo Puerto Rico bought Ice Road truckers: Deadliest Road and, to Universo, a factual package that also includes Storage Wars, Pawn Stars, and Storage Wars: Texas. In addition, TeleOnce Puerto Rico acquired a package of Christmas movies with titles that include A Christmas Wish, Finding Mrs. Claus, Holiday Spin, and Flight before Christmas.
