Addiction House: A moment of the greatest creation

The siblings, Emiliano and Sebastián Zurita, creators of the new series Cómo Sobrevivir Soltero, that was recently launched on Amazon Prime Video, expressed their satisfaction with the fact that their comedy was the first in Spanish by the streaming giant that reaches global audiences.

“We want to entertain people and for them to have fun in these complicated times when we are all fed up with the news. Being able to relax, enjoy a comedy that makes fun of everything, but also talks about our generations and gives you a bit of nostalgia over when the world was normal and we were able to go out with our friends to parties and meet new people,” commented Sebastián and Emiliano Zurita.

They reported that, through their producer Addiction House, they are in the process of selling another series and growing the company.

They added that even though the pandemic forced them to stop certain projects, such as a film and did not allow making the promotion of the series in a traditional way, it did open the doors to other things. “Having the junkets vía computer has allowed us to have a more extensive marketing campaign. With our production company Addiction House has been a moment of a great deal of creation: new projects and series, we are in the process of selling another one,” expressed Sebastián.

“Since we worked as peers, creators, and actors in the series and on other projects, we didn`t have 100% of our time to dedicate it to our production company. We have worked a great deal on projects we had from before and on new ones that are in development. We have a theater play for Mexico, a musical for Spain, and a series that is very advanced,” explains Emiliano.
