Álex Balassa, founder of Blindspot -production house that has successfully positioned itself as the producer of value-based entertainment in the region-, just launched BlindEditing to offer post-production services to the Mexican and international industries.BlindEditing is located in the Santa Fe area of Mexico City, next to its parent company Blindspot. It is starting out with a team of veteran, highly coveted editors such as Arturo Sánchez, Chief Editor; Keyla Ferrer, Head of Post-production; Aurea Robbins, Editor; and Liliana Pérez, Data Manager, among others.Balassa said this new venture was created in response to clients seeking Blindspot editors to do other projects, but in-house workload required additional staff and instead of turning clients away, BlindEditing was created to provide these services. So far the new company is running at full capacity and is looking to expand its post-production bays.
