Azteca América presents the start of the 2011 Torneo Apertura

Azteca América brings the start of the 2011 Torneo Apertura of the Mexican First Division soccer championship tournament on La Liga Azteca, Fútbol Mexicano. Azteca América will present the most spectacular teams competing throughout the tournament to win the championship: Monarcas Morelia, runners-up in the last First Division tournament; the Máquina Celeste (Blue Machine): Cruz Azul; the Camoteros of Puebla; the Jaguares de Chiapas; as well as the newly promoted Xolos de Tijuana. On Saturday July 23 Tijuana vs. Monarcas will face each other in the Caliente Stadium at 8pm and on Sunday, July 24 Jaguares vs. Monterrey will square-off in the Víctor Manuel Reyna Stadium at 7pm.
