This 2011-2012 season of the Los Angeles Philharmonic marks the first year of partnership between Azteca América and the LA Phil. Locally in Los Angeles, Azteca 54 (KAZA TV) is sponsoring a series of Casual Friday concerts with TV and online efforts. These concerts offer a great introduction to classical music as well as a more relaxed environment. Azteca will also be airing a :30 TV spot promoting the LA Phil at Walt Disney Concert Hall. “This is a great new season for the LA Phil, with over 40 concerts conducted by Gustavo Dudamel – a great chance to see him and his passion in action”, states alPunto Advertising VP Enrique Turégano, LA Phil’s Hispanic agency. Azteca América will also be sponsoring nationally LA Phil LIVE – a live simulcast of live (en realidad no creo que se tiene que poner live dos veces pero te lo dejo a tu decision) concerts from Walt Disney Concert Hall to over 1400 cinema theaters across the US. Azteca América already promoted the first of these concerts, which featured Gustavo Dudamel conducting Mendelssohn, last week; next, Azteca América will be promoting the great concert that will combine the LA Phil with the Orquesta Simón Bolívar of Venezuela, where Dudamel began his spectacular career.
