Blim: We send weekly notifications to inform users of what is on the platform

Vanessa Rosas, COO of Blim TV, was one of the panelists in the PRODU webinar “Content search, discovery and personalization”, where she highlighted the importance of rotating carousels on her platform, as well as their strategy of keeping the users informed weekly about their services and content through notifications and newsletters.

‟For us, it is a great challenge that users know what they want to see and what we offer. The search bar is very efficient, but it is only used by 30% of our audience and only when they already know what they want to see. So that’s when the rotation of the carousels on the home page becomes very important, with the most major trends so that subscribers are attracted to certain content,” said Rosas.

They also have a weekly strategy, in which they send notifications via email, within the platform, and as informative newsletters regarding the new content online, and what is a trend. In this way, they manage to make users discover new content and decide what to watch on Blim TV.

‟That is regarding VOD channels, but in terms of linear ones, programming grids are still fundamental to keep users informed of what we offer when it is released and when they can see it”, she indicated.
