Following at 8pm ET/5pm PT, it’s the Gala Mariachi. Viewers will enjoy a very Mexican evening with the presentation of La Magna Gala del Mariachi, a gathering of the most important folk singers in Mexico. At 9pm ET/6pm PT, the music continues with Lila Downs Pecados y Milagros Concert. Pecados y Milagros is the most successful record by Lila Downs, which won the award for Best Regional Music Album during the latest Grammy Awards ceremony. Then, at 11:45pm ET/8:45pm PT, Canal 22 Internacional brings viewers LIVE coverage of del Grito de Independencia ceremony, one of the most important celebrations for Mexican people, which will be broadcast live from the Zócalo in Mexico City. Bringing the festivities to a close on Sunday, September 15, Canal 22 Internacional presents a special program: the 60th Anniversary of El Ballet Folklórico de Amalia Hernández at 12midnight ET/9pm PT.
