Canal 22 Internacional explores the traditions and cultures of Mexico and Colombia during February

Canal 22 Internacional is introducing two new shows in February that will give viewers an exciting trip through the history, culture and traditions of Mexico and Colombia, respectively. Each country has its own style of art, gastronomy, dance, literature and music and the cultural greatness of both Mexico and Colombia will take the spotlight.Canal 22 Internacional will first reveal fascinating information about the world of Mexican culture in Ciudad de Dioses, Teotihuacan on Tuesday, February 2 (11pm PT/2am ET). In its second season, Ciudad de Dioses, Teotihuacan, a documentary series, will explore the Teotihuacan, one of the most important archeological sites in Mexico. During the show, viewers will see the migration of different ethnic groups which settled on the Central Plains. Almost 200,000 people were uprooted as they created a new urban identity in a new land that was about the size of Rome, Alexandria and Constantinople.On Tuesday, February 16, the series continues with Los Puros Criollos (4pm PT/7pm ET), which focuses on Colombia, as the Spanish colonial era has left a lasting influence throughout the country. Music is a very important part of the culture and will be explored along with gastronomy, pottery and religious beliefs, which all generate a feeling of belonging among Colombians.Under the banner of Nuestras Raíces y Ventana Latinoamericana, Canal 22 Internacional will debut both Ciudad de Dioses, Teotihuacan and Los Puros Criollos.
