Cine Estelar and Cine Nostalgia begin transmissions on AT&T U-verse

With the start of the New Year, Cine Estelar and Cine Nostalgia applaud their launch on AT&T U-verse. Both channels ranked among the top 10 most viewed U.S. Spanish movie channels in 2012 on satellite behind Univision, Telemundo, Telefutura and Galavision within all major day parts for total viewers.The networks’ movie specials, new releases and original programming helped secure their ranks for 2012, according to Carolina Padilla, VP of Affiliate Distribution for Marketing and Media Relations for both networks.“After our exclusivity period with DIRECTV ended on 2011, we expanded distribution and now Cine Nostalgia and Cine Estelar are offered by DIRECTV, AT&T U-verse, Verizon, and we recently signed with Cox Communications. We differentiate because we invest on the right product and closely follow the consumer viewing habits of our audience to program accordingly” Padilla said.
