Cine Nostalgia and Cine Estelar unveil new logos

Cine Nostalgia and Cine Estelar unveiled new logos. The new designs were developed based on the need to facilitate their use and adapt them to the digital and online landscape.“Four years after the launch of Cine Nostalgia and Cine Estelar in this market, we’ve updated our logos to make them more adequate to the environment. The new designs visually differentiate Cine Nostalgia from Cine Estelar by extracting the names of the channels from our trademark ovals. However, we preserved the traditional graphic elements represented by the ovals and the colors that represents each channel and make them recognizable to our audience,” said Carlos Vasallo, President and CEO of Cine Nostalgia and Cine Estelar.“We focused on differentiating our signals, and by bringing the channel names out of the graphic symbols we achieved better legibility and awareness. We kept the ovals as the graphic elements that set us apart and maintain familiarity with our audience. The ovals and their colors reflect the emotional, sensible personality of our brand Cine Nostalgia, as well as the experiential, flexible, contemporary characteristics of Cine Estelar. The logos display the initials of each channel, CN or CE,” said Carolina Padilla, VP of Affiliate Distribution, Marketing and Media Relations of Cine Nostalgia and Cine Estelar.The new logos are being phased in across the different communication vehicles used by the channels.
