CNN en Español prepares special coverage of the presidential elections in the U.S.

In light of the presidential elections in the U.S. Nov. 6, CNN en Español will transmit extended coverage beginning at 7pm. The special programming will be hosted by Juan Carlos López, anchor and correspondent in chief at the network in Washington DC, along with Patricia Janiot, Fernando del Rincón, Carmen Aristegui, Xavier Serbiá, Guillermo Arduino and Alejandra Oraa. Political analysts Juan Hernández, María Cardona, Roberto Izurieta and Charles García will be reporting from their world headquarters at the CNN studio in Atlanta, Georgia. CNN en Español will also have correspondents reporting from all over the world to determine how the election is being viewed and its repercussions. Ione Molinares will be reporting from Obama’s campaign headquarters in Chicago while Adriana Hauser will report from Romney’s in Boston. There will also be correspondents in all the swing states.“We’re very excited to be part of this moment in U.S. history.
