CNNE: Strengthening our position as multiplatform content provider

For 2020-2021 Upfront, CNN en Español will strengthen its multiplatform content provider strategy.

“Our Upfront strategy is to continue with this shift we have made in the last few years of truly being a multi-platform content provider, above all. This reconfirms that we were heading in the right direction, that it was essential to strengthen our audiences on all the platforms,” expresses Cynthia Hudson, SVP and general director of CNN en Español and Hispanic Strategy for CNN/US.

The strategy for the next season incudes more research and documentaries. “Important and serious journalism we have always done is what we are going to strengthen, continue doing our important coverages of the great elections in LatAm and in the US with Voto Latino. And for 2021 there will be more podcasts, more multi-platform products, always combined with our lineal presence”.

Among the new podcasts we may highlight Voto Latino, hosted by Juan Carlos López, presenter of Directo USA and Chief Correspondant of CNN en Español in Washington, D.C.
