Director Fez Noriega: Developing a comedy series for digital

According to Fez Noriega, director of Telemundo´s 100 Días para Enamorarnos, the project has a lot of life and is very tangible. “It had been a long time since I had a project like this one in my hands. It is a project with a great deal of life in it, regarding ages, it covers children, bigger ones, and the eldest. There is a great deal of empathy with the characters and the story,” he expressed.

Noriega, who is in Mexico for the time being, ignores if it will be necessary to return to shoot some scenes on the set of 100 Días para Enamorarnos after the production is resumed in Telemundo Center. “We are waiting. Around 80% of the project had already been shot,” he mentioned and thinks that with what they have already, it is possible to finish the story. “Perhaps with what we have, it is not necessary to return to shoot scenes.”

On the other hand, the director is resuming personal projects while the situation lasts. One of them is a 13-episode, one-hour comedy series, designed for four seasons, that has been the subject of advanced negotiations with a digital platform. “Comedy is what I like the most. Through comedy, we can receive any information, whether it is positive or negative, working with comedy, people are going to receive it much better” he comments.
