Endemol Shine Boomdog: Producing for all the channels and all the platforms

Alejandro Rincón, CEO of Endemol Shine Boomdog, stated that this year they will make three or four series and between 15 and 20 entertainment productions. “We are going with all the channels and all the streamings and we will be part of the 50 productions announced last week on Netflix, but we cannot reveal more details yet. We have a great deal of production, both entertainment and scripted, but it is still too soon to make announcements,” said Rincón, after commenting that one of the series they are about to produce will be in English with a Latina celebrity.

He expressed being very happy with the announcement that Amazon Prime made regarding the second season of LOL with Eugenio Derbez. They are additionally working on Hijos de Tigre for Televisa, a project he is thrilled with and which is in the final development phase. “We think it will create a lot of talks and will likely be aired on streaming.” As for the series on Menudo that they are making together with
Somos, they are about to start production very soon.

Rincón explained that the project Guess My Age is a format with huge potential, that they are already offering in Mexico. “It is a daily strip we think can work very well in Mexico”. On the other hand, regarding Chumel con Chumel is already in production. It was launched on February 15.

He stated that they are very happy with the arrival of Leonardo Zimbrón to the company as head of the fiction production, while Lascuraín, based in Los Angeles, offers support to all the productions.
