ESPN Deportes provides Spanish-language coverage of 24 games during the 2013-14 NBA season

Commentator Álvaro Martín has handled play-by-play for ESPN and ABC ’s Spanish-language telecasts of 14 NBA finals

ESPN Deportes will provide Spanish-language coverage of 24 games during the 2013-14 NBA season. Programming kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 10:30pm when the Oklahoma City Thunder and L.A. Clippers face off in the Staples Center. ESPN Deportes will also carry games featuring the world champion Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers, L.A. Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors throughout the season. Four Christmas Day games are included on the ESPN Deportes schedule. The Christmas Day spectacular features an afternoon doubleheader: The New York Knicks and Carmelo Anthony hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder and Kevin Durant at 2:30pm; the Miami Heat and LeBron James visit the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant at 5pm. The network will also televise 2 prime-time match-ups, starting with the San Antonio Spurs hosting the Houston Rockets and the newly acquired Dwight Howard at 8pm, followed by the Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry hosting the Los Angeles Clippers and Chris Paul at 10:30pm.
