Manuel Cerdeira, the Production Coordinator at ESPN Deportes and ESPN International, spoke about how they have evolved to make 18 hours a day of studio shows, from Monday to Friday.

Cerdeira, established in Mexico, has, among others, the role of supervising all the SportsCenter programs, which are approximately ten per day, as well as to look for content and produce Fútbol Center for the Anglo market in the US.

With 15 years in the company, since ESPN Deportes made the decision to open offices in Mexico in 2004, due to the need to serve the Mexican and the US Latino audience, the executive also made it clear that they also have offices in Los Angeles and in Bristol, US.

“Here, there is a very strong load of studio shows,” such as Toque, Los Capitanes, Radio Fórmula, Cronómetro, and Fútbol Picante, among many others. Additionally, he mentioned that they have four channels, including ESPN+.

“We are determined to serve all our audiences much better. It is one of our main goals.” According to him, although they are centered in Mexico, “our idea is to be international for every audience, and with this, towards all the markets we reach.”

The other thing they want is to look for the best content and for the fan to feel well with what they are airing.
