Floresta is very strong in entertainment content production and recently has also devoted efforts to fiction.

Dona Beija will be a very interesting adaptation, in it, we will also be highlighting the very important women empowerment at the time,” Silva pointed out.

They are also producing the first season of Soltos em Salvador. The company has already produced two seasons of Soltos em Floripa which was the first original of Prime Video in Brazil.

They are also working on the new seasons of successful projects such as Túnel del Amor for GloboPlay; In Sickness and In Hell (Se Sobreviver Case); the sixth season of the sitcom Dono Do Lar and the seventh of Shark Tank Brasil for Sony Channel, for which there are already plans to do an eighth.

“One of the characteristics of Floresta is that our projects have a long life,” she said.

Floresta has been acquiring more and more IPs from successful books in Brazil to adapt them. “In addition to the rights to Dona Beija, we are working on the acquisition of other books, especially for children and teenagers content, which is in high demand in Brazil,” Silva said.

She announced that they are working on fiction for Netflix, of between 20 to 50 episodes. “We have 10 productions underway” and added that although Floresta, has been in operation for 12 years, is a producer for SPT in Brazil, and they also work as an independent producer.

“We are very focused on fiction, looking for international productions and TV movies, it is an opportunity. We are working with scriptwriters and local talents for TV movies” she highlighted.

To conclude, Silva said that they will be attending the next Mipcom in Cannes.
