For Patricia Jasin, director of International Sales of Frecuencia Latina International, the Hispanic market is booming. “Many new small channels have arisen, expanding the demand – and there is everything. There are channels that call for fiction; there are some that ask for programs produced locally in Latin America so that the people in this country remember their origins” Jasin explained to PRODU. She indicated that the company had sold multiple hours to the new channel SoiTV, as well as others with more time like Latele Novela, LATV and Olympusat, to mention a few of their clients. “We have interesting products for the Hispanic market, which I think has diversified a lot and isn’t polarized as it was before. Now there are many theme-based channels that didn’t exist before. Before you could only sell telenovelas. Now we can sell entertainment, general interest and journalistic pieces” she finalized.
