(Maribel Ramos-Weiner). GolTV expects to grow this year at least 25% in sales, distribution, and ratings.“Everything indicates we are going to close the year exceeding all goals: advertising, distribution, and HD penetration are all doing great. Our business is doing great. 2010 was a record year for us and it seems 2011 will be as well,” said to PRODU Rodrigo Lombello, COO of GolTV.For the upfront season, GolTV will continue its road show around main cities such as Houston, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. “Last year we had record sales, and I believe this is what clients prefer: more face-to-face, showing them how to integrate their products to our programming. We have already started talks,” added Lombello. Some the programming changes include the revamping of the newscast GolTV News and the expansion of the format of Oh my gol, which premiered last year as an experiment and, due to its success, comes back this year with an extended format with more elements.Additionally, GolTV will launch mid-year a branding campaign called Todo por el fútbol. It was produced in-house with the creative input of the agency Tres Sargentos from Caracas and New York. “The idea of the campaign is to portray all our viewers go through to watch a soccer game,” added Lombello.
