Inter Medya: We are in conversations to co-produce with Latin America

Beatriz Cea Okan, Sales Executive at Inter Medya, reported that the company is interested in co-producing with Latin America soon. “We are already in conversations to co-produce with the region, with different countries. In fact, the companies are already there, the stories are being checked. In Los Angeles Screenings I will be able to make announcements”.

The executive detailed that in co-production they will seek to create new stories, between Turkish and Latin American writers, and mixing the actors. “The idea is for the products to have a Latin American and Turkish essence, that the essence of each country we work with isn’t lost.” They are also thinking about doing local remakes of their stories.

At MIPTV, one of the company’s bets was Bitter Lands, that had already been presented at MIP Cancún. “We managed to close a deal for Mexico with Imagen TV. And we are in the process of signing for ten more countries in the region”.

Another important content was Dos Destinos y Una Promesa, a production they are also in the process of signing for several countries in Latin America. “It is an animated film that will also be present in Latin America in movie theaters in summer.”
