INTI considers that Mexico will always be a very important territory. “It is a country with great cultural richness and pride in its roots. This is essential for us since at INTI we focus on promoting reconnecting with the land and the conservation of ancestral wisdom. We see a lot of potential in this market, as well-being and environmental care trends continue to grow. We are facing a new consumer who pays more attention to what he consumes and how he does it,” said Diana Baquerizo, Director of Operations for the channel.

She added that they not only offer the market a catalog of content that adjusts to what the new viewer demands to see and that complies with their needs, but also they offer several options to have access to it such as mobile applications, smart TV applications, TV live, FAST channel and pay-per-view (PPV) online courses.

INTI’s medium-term objective is to reach more Mexican homes through cable operators and streaming platforms. “We offer our cable signal or the option of purchasing original content through a catalog. We are also looking to be part of other smart TV applications with our FAST channel INTI PACHA. We already had a good start with Samsung Mexico. We continue to search and talk to new platforms,” she said. They are also open to possible alliances with brands, organizations, and content creators who wish to be part of the INTI project.

Baquerizo noted that they have the support of celebrities such as Marco Antonio Regil, Claudia Lizaldi, Mariano Garcés, Karina Velasco, Eamonn Kneeland, Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram, María José Flaqué and other well-known influencers in Mexico. “Together we have created social responsibility projects and campaigns. We hope to continue expanding this network of allies with those people and movements committed to the conservation of the planet.”

INTI also included Mexican nationals for the second season of its reality show, Transición de la Ciudad al Campo (Transition from the city to the countryside), which is currently in the production process.

“We want our Mexican audience to relate and feel part of the stories, anecdotes, and customs that these people can share during their experience in the reality show. In addition, very soon we will premiere the first season of the show on INTI PACHA, our FAST channel that is available for free in Mexico through Samsung TV Plus, channel 2100”, she said.

This month INTI will premiere the podcast Voceros de la Tierra, hosted by activist Toya Montoya. It will be available on INTIplay, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts. “This will be a space for interviews with grandparents, wise men, shamans, and representatives of native peoples who will talk with Toya about their ancestral philosophy in taking care of the land and those who inhabit it. We will have the participation of Martín García Zen Yaotl, originally from Malinalco, who will share his wisdom based on the Mexican vision of the cosmos.”
