Los Angeles will be the center of the new LA3C festival (Los Angeles Capital of Creativity and Culture, December 2-4, 2021) of which Juan Mora is its CEO.

“Los Angeles deserves it. The last year has been difficult for everyone and the city is beginning to regain its strength. There is much to be thankful for and much to do. Los Angeles is the creative capital of the world. The concepts that were born in Los Angeles end up on the screens of cinema, TV, and music services around the world,” says Mora.

Mora, a Colombian executive with more than 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, design thinking, and exponential organizations with impact, and who has two years living in Los Angeles, explains that LA3C, owned by Penske Media, will leverage its Variety brands, Rolling Stone, Hollywood Reporter, and Billboard, among others, to boost the festival. In addition, Penske also has experience in organizing events through its investment in SXSW which brings together in Austin, Texas, around 400 thousand people annually.

The LA3C festival will have the areas for Film and TV, Future, Fashion, Sports, Music, Comedy, Food, and wine.

Mora comments that LA3C will be very attractive for companies in the US Hispanic market, Latin America and Spain. “We have a clear awareness of the relevance of the Hispanic, Latin America, and Spain markets. The productions that are being made are top-class and thanks to the new platforms, they are being watched all over the world. In music, Latin America has never been as strong as it is now. There is a lot of talent. This city is 49% Latino. It will be reflected in all aspects of the festival,” he stressed.
