Colombian-born Sofía Vergara is one today’s best paid Hollywood stars

Three successful personalities in American entertainment, Luis Balaguer, Sofía Vergara, and Ben Silverman, have joined forces to produce a new sitcom for ABC Network’s primetime.Colombian-born Sofía Vergara is one today’s best paid Hollywood stars. She plays a leading role in the successful ABC series Modern family, which has captivated American audiences. Vergara is the executive producer for this new project, where she works alongside her manager and partner Luis Balaguer and with Ben Silverman. José Luis Moreno, a famous Spanish neurosurgeon and ventriloquist turned successful TV writer, will be in charge of the script. He wrote the Spanish version of Las chicas de oro (The Golden Girls) of Disney Media Latinoamérica e Iberia, which airs on TVE with great results.Silverman, founder of Reveille and former Co-Chairman of NBC Entertainment, is a well respected producer with a successful track record. His company Electus will partner with Balaguer’s LatinWe for the production of the sitcom. Balaguer is also a well known producer and a highly coveted manager with a top notch portfolio of Latin stars. Balaguer will move to Los Angeles for the duration of the project.
