Meruelo Media announces launch of new over-the-air channel Super 22

Continuing and expanding upon its commitment to Los Angeles’s Spanish Language viewers, Meruelo Media announced the launch of its newest channel, Super 22. As KWHY-TV Channel 22 has become MundoFox 22 and the flagship affiliate for the MundoFox network, Super 22 will continue to provide much of the traditional KWHY-TV Channel 22 programming on channel 22.2“Spanish Language viewers and Advertisers in Los Angeles deserve a variety of quality programming. Meruelo Media is committed to ensure that viewers and advertisers can have the option to watch and reach consumers through the KWHY programming they know and love on Super 22 as well as the cutting edge news and entertainment of MundoFox 22,” stated Meruelo Media president Otto Padrón.The Super 22 programming includes a combination of classic Spanish language movies, entertainment news programs and award winning local news, Noticias 22.
