Milenio Television offers extensive coverage of Mexico presidential election

One of Mexico’s highest-rated cable news channel, Milenio Television, is ahead of the competition for in-depth, even-handed coverage of Mexico’s July 2 presidential election. With an exciting three-way race between Josefina Vázquez Mota, Mexico’s first major-party female candidate; Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the photo-finish runner-up of the previous election; and Enrique Peña Nieto, the glamorous new face of Mexico’s traditional ruling party, Mexicans will choose one of three distinct paths for their country.Among the exclusive features of Milenio Television’s reporting are: a daily tracking poll, daily updates about candidates’ statements and upcoming appearances, live transmission of debates and post-debate analysis, and 41 hours of continuous election coverage on July 1-2. Ratings for the first debate, which was carried by several channels, were the highest in Milenio Television’s history, showing once again that viewers trust it to provide the most informative coverage of major news events. Sister network Multimedios Television is also incorporating Milenio’s election reporting into its news programming. Milenio Television is available on many cable and satellite systems throughout the United States.
