MundoFox celebrates launch party in Los Angeles

Fox, in conjunction with RCN, is hosting a special event this Thursday August 9th at Club Nokia at LA Live for key industry leaders, influencers, clients, media and affiliates to celebrate the launch of MundoFox, the new Spanish-language broadcast network for American Latinos, headquartered in Los Angeles. The star-studded event will commence with the arrival of the new network’s top executives and programming talent on the Red Carpet. The event will feature a special presentation by Emiliano Saccone, president of MundoFox, as well as a special live concert by one of Latin music’s chart-topping groups.Among the stars that will be on site are the following special guests from the new Spanish-language broadcast network, MundoFox: Jo Blanco, star of Las Detectivas y El Víctor; Marlon Moreno and Cristina Umaña, of the hit series El Capo; Rolando Nichols, news anchor of Noticias MundoFox national newscast; Marco Antonio Regil, host of new game show Minuto Para Ganar; and Christopher Von Uckermann, star of highly-rated series Kdabra.In addition, the evening will feature appearances by actor, Wilmer Valderrama; gossip columnist, Perez Hilton; and Los Angeles Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa. The night will culminate with a special live concert by Latin pop trio from Monterrey, Mexico, 3BallMTY, which popularized the tribal guarachero style stateside with their full-length album debut, Inténtalo, which topped the Regional Mexican Albums chart in 2011.
